If you find yourself wandering the vibrant streets of Paramaribo, make sure to stop by Samba Cafe, located at Anamoe St 49. This cozy cafeteria is not just a simple pit stop; it’s a delightful experience that tantalizes your taste buds with a range of delicious offerings.

Samba Cafe is celebrated for its enticing breakfast and brunch menu, which features a fusion of local flavors and classic favorites. Customers rave about the Samba Breakfast, known for being one of the best in town. Imagine starting your day with a plate of perfectly cooked eggs alongside crispy pork bacon, all while sipping on a rich, aromatic coffee that locals claim is the best in the area. Another must-try is the açaí bowl, a vibrant dish that blends health and indulgence in every vibrant spoonful, making it a favorite among health enthusiasts.

Though the waffle has received mixed reviews, the majority of the menu items shine under the cafe's warm hospitality. With free wifi and a laid-back environment, it's an ideal spot to relax or get some work done while enjoying your meal. Customers appreciate the roomy interior enhanced by large glass windows that flood the space with natural light, making it feel open and inviting, despite the cozy air-conditioned setting.

Reviewers have consistently highlighted the attentive staff at Samba Cafe, who aim to provide welcoming service. While some have noted that the service might occasionally feel a bit rushed (as experienced by Ryan), many share fond memories of their meals and interactions with the staff. From Livni’s joyful affirmation of great service to Celifiano’s remarks on the occasionally lively blender ensuring your smoothie is made fresh, it’s clear that Samba Cafe strives to create a friendly dining atmosphere.

While Timothy mentions the prices being on the higher side, he balances it out by stating the food is well worth the splurge, especially for that invigorating pineapple, melon, and ginger detox smoothie that packs a powerful punch of flavor. The ambiance, combined with a curated menu, ensures that each visit to Samba Cafe can be both a culinary delight and a peaceful retreat from the busy streets outside.

In summary, Samba Cafe is more than just a cafeteria—it’s a local gem where good food, quality coffee, and a friendly atmosphere come together, making it an essential stop on your Paramaribo journey. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast on the go or settling in for a leisurely brunch, your taste buds will thank you.

Nice cozy spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch. We had a few different items for our brunch but it was very well prepared. The açai bowl is a must try. Free wifi is provided for you as a customer. The place is airconditioned but due to the large glass windows and the warm weather and hot sun it wasn't as cold as you would expect. The blender at the bar was a bit loud but not overwhelming. When entering the place watch your steps as it has multiple step up.

The good and coffee were good. The service could be better. We ordered our drinks and before we could order anything else the lady walked away (to make the drinks apparently). It would be nice if she asked first if we were ready to order the food etc. Overall, nice place and good food.

The food is a bit on the expensive side for what you’re getting, $12.15 for 2 slices of bread cut in 4 with eggs and a baconc but it’s good tho. I love the pineapple, melon, ginger detox smoothie; the ginger is strong. I would go there again just for the smoothie and the space is nice and quiet to take your laptop out and work
